A: When your current hosting provider can no longer meet the demands of your web site, or when you face regular downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the support team to reply back to you, it may be a good idea to switch your web hosting provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your websites together with your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At Mail Order Foods, we are aware that this can often be difficult & time–consuming. That is why we’ll accomplish all that for you for free!Our competent technical staff will transfer your web site content from your current provider to us. Our techs have got a lot of experience migrating websites and can handle anything – from a conventional WordPress–driven weblog or Joomla^™ CMS–driven website, to a highly complex, custom–built web app.

A: While we can’t give you a precise time interval, since there are lots of factors, including the size of the web files and databases, the physical location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our best to transfer your web site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (when the content is not very large).

A: We’ll need the login details for your current hosting provider’s Control Panel along with the site’s name (domain name).

A: In order for us to begin the transfer of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share precisely the same info you have provided to your current host. We also have an extremely rigorous Privacy Policy, which specifies how sensitive information is handled.

A: While we move your site, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your former web hosting provider. Once the transfer is complete, we’ll ensure that everything is functioning correctly and that the integrity of your web content is not compromised prior to telling you that the transfer is finished. After that, we will instruct you how to transfer the domain name over to your hosting account with us and how to edit your DNS records.

A: While we move your website content, your hosting provider will not be aware of the transfer at all. We won’t get in touch with them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–based hosting platforms. Basically, if we can receive access to your Control Panel, we will be able to migrate your site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source website building platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
